We would like to say a massive thank you to the Guernsey Society of Football Referees (GSFR) and the local football community for their incredible recent donations.
MUG Council Member Chris Walker was delighted to meet with GSFR President Tony Sarre and Chairman George Jennings for a presentation of two generous donations:
- £390 raised through a raffle held at the GSFR Annual Dinner.
- £566 raised during a charity football match between the GFA Referees and the Priaulx Coaches.
A special shout-out goes to Luke Pattimore for his hard work in organising the charity match, and to all the players, spectators, and referees - both GSFR members and GFA-registered officials - who stepped onto the pitch or donated from the sidelines to make this happen.
Every penny raised stays right here on the island, helping us continue our mission to raise awareness and support those affected by male cancers in Guernsey.
